I took my family here for lunch and we had a wonderful experience! The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I especially loved the Greek music playing in the background. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We shared the tzatziki and hummus appetizer along with the gyro platter, and every bite was incredible. Unfortunately, we were too hungry to remember to take any photos! If you're looking for a quaint, family-owned Greek restaurant with great food and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Going thru Fort Myers for The weekend and I love Greek food. I looked at all the reviews. Another one in town pops up at the top of the list, people wrote several times the food was too salty. So I tried this place, I am so pleased with the food they would've gotten 5 stars, but there's a male waiter so loud, banging dishes, dropping many things, it was hard for me to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Food was really good and NOT salty! My waitress, Sophia, was quiet, kind and attentive. The Avgolemono soup and Mousaka were great!

I've eaten here for over 10 years. Normally very good and never any complaints. All this waitress wanted to do was argue. I tried to tell her that my gyro was swimming in Taziki sauce. The meat was also luke-warm. I immediately asked for a box and she was well aware there was something wrong with it. She just wanted to tell me that's how they always are. She didn't offer to exchange it so I paid for it and left. Definitely not worth $18. Last month everything was great, not sure what's happening.

Authentic Greek Food We’ve relocated here from the Chicago area and have been searching for good Greek food. Chicago has a great Greek Town and we’ve had many meals there, setting the bar pretty high. The main difference here is the meat blend and flavor. Up north, the meat has more lamb and garlic in it and that is hard to find here. Nomiki’s is the best we’ve found so far. My wife and daughter had fountain sodas and I started with a Aris Greek beer. A lager, malty and a bit hoppy and easy to drink. I did follow that with a Fix Hellas, the first and most historic Greek lager beer. Also very smooth and easy drinking. We started off with a Saganaki ($15.99). Opa! Flaming cheese, a bit salty, soft and chewy, served with pits bread wedges. Festive and fun. All of us ordered the Gyro Platter ($21.99). The Platter comes with a side Greek Salad, Tzatziki (garlicky cucumber sauce) and pita bread. A massive pile of gyro meat sits on a warm pita and is topped with sliced onion and tomatoes. The salad – a mix of greens, a pepperoncini, tomato, cucumber and lots of feta cheese. Excellent Greek dressing also. Great gyro meat. You can taste a little lamb and a little garlic. If you want authentic, fresh, homemade Greek food, then this is the place! Everything on the menu is cooked to perfection. Truly the BEST Greek food and hospitality in town! It’s obvious that this family puts a lot of love into their recipes. Not only is the food delicious, the deserts are always amazing too! I have been dining at Plakka for 13 years now and the experience has consistently been exceptional! Excellent service in a cozy atmosphere and so much more. “OPA” I highly recommend you check it out for yourself 🇬🇷💙🎉
